Description
I began this project in 2006, when I learned that I was pregnant for my son. I diligently worked on it until shortly after his birth. Sadly, after my son was diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation, I put this piece to rest, in April of 2007.
I picked it up again in 2011, after having lost my job as a Preschool Teacher, in a special education school. After a nearly four year hiatus, this work was completed in May of 2011. The pattern is discontinued and very hard to find. I happened to luck out at a yard sale, after years of lusting after its greatness!
The colors on this are even more fabulous than the picture lets on. As big as this project was, I had a blast making it.
It now hangs in my son's room.

I stitched this years ago for my step-grandson, and didn't take any pictures. It was a big task, but so beautiful when finished. I'd love to do it again!
